It’s always rewarding when a simple activity can have a significant impact on pupils’ learning.
The Connect Set, Expanding Sentences, on LearningGrids is a good example of this. The set helps your learners to easily explore the power of descriptive words in their writing. On each grid of the set, there is a basic sentence and descriptive words and phrases to add to it, in order to create sentences with more visual impact.
