I am delighted to be a part of Crick’s Customer Experience team after taking a side-step out of the classroom in December. My previous experience is in Primary Teaching, where I taught across EYFS and KS1 for ten years. When looking at leaving the classroom I was keen to work in a role where I could still make a positive impact on children’s lives, and here at Crick I can do exactly that!
The best part about teaching was always building positive relationships with people, and I am looking forward to bringing this to my new role as Customer Experience Consultant. I am keen to use my teaching experience to help provide training and content for busy teachers and continuing to support children to access the curriculum.
My favourite feature of Clicker and DocsPlus is definitely Analytics! The teacher in me loves that you can use Analytics to track progress across the year. It’s amazing how quick and easy it is to see how independent a child has been and how much support they have received from the built-in support tools.
Outside of work I love to read, I try to complete the ‘52 book challenge’ most years, one book a week for the whole year! Over the weekend you’re most likely to find me on an adventure with my cocker spaniel, Poppy, who loves to chase a tennis ball around the countryside!
I look forward to helping customers at free customer care meetings and answering their questions in the Clicker Community Facebook group!
