Share files via AirDrop
You can use the AirDrop feature of your iPad to wirelessly exchange files with another iPad or a Mac.
Both devices must be within 9m (30ft) of each other, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on. The receiving device must have AirDrop set to Contacts Only or Everyone.

Send from iPad
To send a Document:
- Tap the icon and choose Send As.
- Choose a file type:
- DocsPlus Document - compatible with our software.
- Microsoft Word Document - compatible with Microsoft Word and other writing tools.
- Text File - simple plain text without formatting or pictures.
- PDF - a "digital printout" that can be easily viewed on any device.
- In the iPad sharing popover, choose AirDrop.
- Choose the device to send to.
To send a Wordbar:
- Tap the icon and choose Send As.
- In the iPad sharing popover, choose AirDrop.
- Choose the device to send to.
Receive on ipad
When the AirDrop notification appears, tap Accept, and then tap the relevant app name to open it.
Receive on Mac
When the AirDrop notification appears, click Accept. Your Downloads folder will open. Double-click the received file to open it.
