Clicker 7 Release 9

Clicker 7 Release 9 is now available to download in our Support section.

The new version (v7.0.328) contains numerous performance enhancements, along with macOS Mojave (10.14) compatibility.
To check your current version and install type:

  1. Launch Clicker 7.
  2. Click About Clicker 7 in the Help ribbon tab.

How to update - Standalone

If you have a standalone installation of Clicker 7, you can install the new version without having to uninstall the old one.

Windows

  1. Open the Clicker 7 Windows Installer page.
  2. Right-click the red Download button and choose Save target as or Save link as.
  3. Save the file to your Desktop.
  4. Open the downloaded clicker7.exe file.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Mac

  1. Open the Clicker 7 Mac Installer page.
  2. Right-click the red Download button and choose Download Linked File As or similar.
  3. Save the file to your Desktop.
  4. Open the downloaded clicker7.dmg file.
  5. In the Clicker 7 DVD drive that appears in Finder, double-click Clicker 7 Installer.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions.

How to update – Network

If you have a network installation of Clicker 7, your IT Support will need to install the new version for you and other computers on your network.

Windows

  1. Ensure you have the serial number.
  2. We recommend uninstalling first as good practice.
    • If Clicker 7 was deployed via Group Policy, then uninstall via Group Policy before continuing (to prevent accidental reinstallation).
    • If this isn't possible (e.g. Clicker 7 was installed as part of a system image), you can use the Uninstall Clicker Tool.
  3. Follow the steps in the Install to computers on a network section of the installation instructions to generate a new Clicker 7 MSI package.
    • Use the same path for the Shared Clicker Files folder as your previous installation.
  4. Deploy the new Clicker 7 MSI package via Group Policy or similar.

Mac

  1. Ensure you have the serial number.
  2. Follow the steps in the Install to computers on a network section of the installation instructions to generate a new Clicker 7 PKG (inside a DMG).
  3. Deploy the new Clicker 7 PKG via Apple Remote Desktop or similar.

Arabic Customers

If you have Clicker 7 Arabic, please download the Clicker 7 Arabic Installer. Your Arabic serial number will not work with the English version.
If you’re updating from the English version, please uninstall it first.
