Everything you need to know about our February webinars

January 20, 2022

In February we have a packed agenda of webinars to demonstrate how everyone can benefit from using our Clicker literacy tools. Our hosts will show you how to save time with our vast collection of ready-made resources, and our fantastic guest speakers will reveal their strategies to help your learners thrive.

1) Supporting English learners with Clicker

First up, we've invited Louise Dawson to join this half-hour discussion centered around how we can best support English learners. We know teachers are already stretched trying to meet the varied needs of children in their classrooms, so Louise will share some quick and easy ways that Clicker can be used to make the curriculum more accessible for English Learners.

Date: Tuesday, February 8
Time: 10:45am EST

2) Developing oral language skills with Clicker

Next, we have Lidia Giosa sharing strategies to support vital oral language development. Oral language skills impact all areas of a child’s life. Building these skills not only forms the foundation of academic and literacy success but allows students to understand expectations, express emotions, share ideas, interact appropriately with others, and problem solve.

Date: Thursday, February 10
Time: 1:00pm EST

A keen advocate for assistive technology, she'll be explaining the 14-point Developmental Writing Scale and how tools in Clicker can help children with the first five levels of the DWS.

Date: Thursday, February 24
