Dictation doesn't work
Tapping the Dictate key causes the app's keyboard to flicker.
Resolution
Ensure your iPad has Internet access and that the following settings are enabled.
enable Dictation
- Open your iPad's Settings app.
- In the left pane, tap General. On the right, tap Keyboard.
- Scroll down and turn on Enable Dictation.
enable Siri
- Open your iPad's Settings app.
- In the left pane, tap Siri & Search.
- On the right, turn on Press Home for Siri, and then Enable Siri.
Grant permission
- Open your iPad's Settings app.
- In the left pane, scroll down and tap DocsPlus.
- On the right, enable access to Microphone and Speech Recognition.
