Tapping the Dictate key causes the app's keyboard to flicker.

Resolution

Ensure your iPad has Internet access and that the following settings are enabled.

enable Dictation

1. Open your iPad's Settings app.
2. In the left pane, tap General. On the right, tap Keyboard.
3. Scroll down and turn on Enable Dictation.

enable Siri

1. Open your iPad's Settings app.
2. In the left pane, tap Siri & Search.
3. On the right, turn on Press Home for Siri, and then Enable Siri.

Grant permission

1. Open your iPad's Settings app.
2. In the left pane, scroll down and tap DocsPlus.
3. On the right, enable access to Microphone and Speech Recognition.
