How do I uninstall Clicker from a network?
You would like to uninstall Clicker from computers on your Windows network.
Resolution
If Clicker was deployed using Group Policy, it should be uninstalled using Group Policy (to prevent accidental reinstallation).
If this isn't possible (e.g. Clicker was installed as part of a system image), you can use our Uninstall Clicker Tool. It can silently trigger the uninstallation of Clicker on each computer, equivalent to running this Windows Installer command:
msiexec /x {Product Code} /qn
To use the tool:
- Download the Uninstall Clicker Tool below.
- Run the downloaded file and click Extract.
- Copy UninstallClicker.exe from the extracted folder to a network share with suitable permissions.
- Use a logon script, Scheduled Task, Group Policy, or similar to run the tool on each computer. It must be run with administrative privileges and the corresponding parameter:
-removeC5
-removeC6
-removeC7
-removeC8
Example
\\servername\sharename\UninstallClicker.exe -removeC8
